How to delete messages in yahoo mail and bypass the trash folder?

Is there an option in Yahoo mail, or a shortcut, that will allow you to delete mails and bypass the trash folder?

My mail is working pretty good and dodgy mails end up in spam and nothing in Trash unless I delete, so that being the case, if I want to delete a mail, I want it to be gone permanently and right away.

Thanks for any help.

    I don’t think there’s any quick delete like you’re describing (where it skips the trash folder all together).
    If you want to be rid of the email & be sure of it, after you hit delete, then just select “Empty Trash”.
    Should purge it right away that way! & only takes one more click…

    If you go to your “Mail Option” from there go to to your “Spam Filter” on that page you well see…

    Spam Filter
    Spam Guard is ON [Turn Spam Guard OFF - What's this?]

    For messages Spam Guard identifies as Spam:

    0 Immediately delete these messages upon receipt. (Note: If you choose this option, you will not be able to review the messages before they are deleted.)

    If you pick that option any mail you make as spam well be
    Immediately deleted. And well not be sent to the Spam or Trash folder

    PS.
    That is on the older versions of Yahoo Mail the newer (up-dated) one it set-up just a little different. But you should be able to fine the setting on both versions with them same instructions. (the up-dates on this part of Yahoo Mail is just different wording.)
